Snow Much Fun

In the Great State of Texas the Weather changes daily. Last year we were blessed with Snow 4 or 5 times. This Year the Weather has been up and down, so I am considering ourselves Lucky that we got Snow today. Last week it was in the upper 60's and today is it Snowing. This week it will be in the upper Teens and Lower 20's. I am hoping for more Snow this week, but sometimes you just have to Count your Blessings.

Abbey LOVES the snow. As soon as there was enough on the ground we took her outside for some Fun in the Snow. Her and Daddy made a Snow Man, had a Snow Ball Fight, and Abbey even made a Snow Angel.

Resolution

We live very busy and complex lives and we have negleted our Blog for a very long time. In the beginning it was because we didn't have Internet, then my computer crashed, then it was holiday season at work. Well no more excuses!!! The Holidays are over, my computer works, and we have Internet! So my New Year's Resolution is going to be that I must Blog at least ONCE a week. Yes, I know it doesn't sound like much, but really for me it is! Stay tuned for upcoming events in the Dimas Family!

This is Torrey's sister again, posting some cute pics of Abbey from the night we went to Gaylord Texan. She was not in a picture taking mood, so I had to be quick!

First off I am not Torrey, and she may strangle my neck for this, but these pictures of Abbey were just too cute, so I thought I would share with her blog followers. =) I took these last weekend at my mom's house. She is so funny. She was dancing but a few minutes before this she was yelling and pointing her finger at me. I was not fast enough with my camera to catch those ones. Check out those moves....

Bet On It

So, Abbey is just like me. I love to dance and sing, I just don't do it very well. For those of you who know me, you know I LOVE Britney Spears. We have her Circus cd in the car and Abbey loves to dance to it. Womanizer, Circus, and If You Seek Amy Tonight are her favorite songs to dance too. She also loves Lady Gaga, Poker Face and Rihanna, Disturbia.

We have lots of fun in our car.

Well, back to my story..... I had to work tonight, as usual and while I was at work this is what went down.....

At least it was to Bet on It from High School Musical II.... A little more child friendly!!! (A little more G-rated than Britney Spears)

Sunday Shopping

Yesterday both Joel and I had to work so Abbey spend half the day with Grammy. I got off of work at 8pm so Joel and I decided to hit Tom Thumb and Kroger while we did not have Abbey with us. When we have Abbey our shopping trips always end up being twice as long.

First Stop: Tom Thumb

I did not take a picture last night because we didn't get home until 10:30pm since we had to pick up Abbey at my Mom's house. I will try next trip to take a picture. I still have to hit Albertson's tomorrow afternoon.

OH LUCY

About 2 weeks ago Joel and I inherited my Mom's cat Lucy. Lucy needs lots of attention and love, because my Mom is working all the time, Lucy came to live with us. She no longer longs for attention and love because little Miss Abbey has that covered.

After work last night I walked in the door to find the two of them laying down watching a movie!

I usually would say that the poor kitty gets beat up, but she keeps coming back for more. So, I no longer feel sorry for her.

After Abbey gives Lucy kisses there is a huge slobber mark on Lucy's fur. Not to mention Abbey then comes running to me pulling black cat hair out of her mouth.
